Challenge

One of the leading consumer goods companies in Colombia needed to redesign its cloud architecture to optimize costs. The goal was to maintain a robust and cost-efficient structure, as the client was operating with independent data architectures for sales and financial cubes. Moreover, they sought access to tools that would allow them to leverage their data through analytical initiatives, maximizing the value generated by the business.

Solution

We led a comprehensive process that encompassed everything from redesigning to executing the change in the existing data architecture. We migrated a significant part of the cloud services to more modern and efficient solutions, leveraging advanced resources from Databricks and AWS. In just 10 weeks, we achieved an initial reduction of 30%, maintaining the robustness and efficiency of the new technological structure. Additionally, further opportunities were identified for implementation in the medium and long term.
